Working To Bring A Smile To Your Face

Here at Pensili, the Jeremiah McKenna Memorial Foundation, we want to help others and bring a smile to their face as a loving tribute to Jerry's memory. Jerry was a family man, who could always be found helping his family, whether that be at a swim meet or jump rope practice or fixing Mary's lunch every day, you would always find Jerry with a smile on his face and a planner and a pen in his pocket.

We began collecting school and clinic supplies for LSU Shreveport Medical School's Kenyan global health outreach. When COVID-19 halted travel, we got creative and began making crayon care packages for Ochsner LSU hospitals in Shreveport. For Jerry's 5th angel-versary, we collected school supplies to donate to local outreach programs in Shreveport. Now, with support from the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation's Rob Gotlin Community Leadership Grant, we are making adaptive crayons for GiGi's Playhouse and the Central Wisconsin Center in Madison, Wisconsin.​​​​​​​
